Have you got problems with bule?

This word came out from some bules when there was a woman from Jogja clearly said that Jogja did not need more international NGOs to work there during a coordination meeting or kind of (this is a rumour - I really need to know more about this).

Hmmm .... If I have to be honest, I would say the same thing to those people. If I had been there, I would have said the same thing and completely supported her. This might be radical, ironic and dillematic. Some people also might say, "Shut up, Diyah! You are working for bules too. You live because of those international NGOs."

Please understand. I just don't want things go wrong again. Not in my Jogja. Stop coming to Jogja. Stop spoiling my Jogja people. Stop paying them for cleaning their own yards. Let them gotong royong and rembugan for this. If in the end it's found out that they need assistances from International NGOs, let it come from them.

My Jogja people know when they need help from others. My Jogja people are strong. They are tough.

There's one party that should take care about this from the very beginning and I am sure you know who they are. They have to answer for this. Can't they just go to the neighbours to ask for their help?

It is interesting that we have just finished talking about community managed that was presented by a couple of consultants. These consultants represent universities abroad and some international NGOs.

If they could come up with that, then why don't they speak loud to their bule friends? I know some people might get offended with this.

But please do understand, do not create chaos in my Jogja. Not in my Jogja. If I have to answer the question on this subject I would say, "No, I haven't"

But, please GET OUT OF JOGJA or at least STAY AWAY FROM JOGJA!!

Stay where you are and finish your works.

STOP BEING FUZZY AND MAKE CHANGES!!!
